![]() ![]() It would just be awesome to have a sci-fi version done in the same style.īut as the dev mentioned it's not something their interest in doing.so I guess I'll have to be disappointed. It's one of the more unique experiences I've had in my long years of gaming. Like the best tabletop roleplaying experiences, Wildermyth gives you choices and answers your every decision with consequences that drive your characters forward. None of the games above in my opinion are anything like Wildermyth. We're 1.0 Wildermyth is a character-driven, procedurally-generated tactical RPG, designed to help you tell your wildest stories. But in light of this game just reaching 1.0, figured it's safe to waste some time, covering mods, instead of well play the game. Note, as this is covering modded contents, this could change in line of Wildermyth updates, or mod updates or bug fixes. And to top off the whole thing you can co-op with your friends. Here's my lazy notes/comparisons for mods, in contrast to vanilla. ![]() They seem to focus on them and their stories more than just the gameplay and combat The papercraft artwork is very nice as well. I really like this game because of the way your heroes grow and evolve over each campaign. ![]() As for Deep Sky Derelicts I can't remember a lot about it except I wasn't really into it. (Shows my age a bit) Outside of the combat style being turn based strategy they aren't very similar. I played all the X-Com games as they came out. I actually own all 3 of those games everyone mentioned. ![]()
